Privacy Policy

Short version

Now Korea is a free, static informational site. It does not run user accounts, does not log personal data, and does not store anything you type into the tools on its own servers. Some features call public third-party services (weather, exchange rates) and those providers have their own privacy policies. If Google AdSense ads appear on the site, Google's own cookies and tracking apply.

What data we process

• Things you type into the tools (birth date, amount to convert, quiz answers) are used only inside your browser to show results. They are not sent to our server — there is no server.
• Contact form messages are sent by opening your email app with a pre-filled mailto: link. We do not receive, forward, or store any message unless you personally choose to send it.
• No account, login, or tracking cookies are set by Now Korea itself. The site is fully static and does not include analytics code at the time of this writing.

Third-party services

These external services are called from your browser when you use specific features:

• Open-Meteo (weather) — your approximate request origin may be logged by them. See open-meteo.com/en/terms.
• Frankfurter.dev & open.er-api.com (exchange rates) — called when you use the Money tool.
• Wikimedia Commons / Wikipedia — images are loaded from upload.wikimedia.org. Photos are licensed under Creative Commons; credit on each image's Wikipedia page.
• Google Fonts — Inter and Noto Sans KR are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com. Google may log your IP for font delivery. See policies.google.com/privacy.

Advertising & cookies

If Google AdSense ads are shown on this site, Google and third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at www.google.com/settings/ads, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Children

Now Korea is a general audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Your rights

Because this site does not store any personal information about you, there is nothing to request, export, or delete from our side. For third-party services listed above, please reach out to those providers directly.
